During my last year at Winthrop University I began making greeting cards using my photographs. The cards were mostly for family and friends who were going through tough times so I included encouraging scriptures in them. Some of them have poetry that I've written.

Over the years I have continued to make new cards from my art and photography. Every Christmas I add a new Christmas card to the collection. The safari cards are made from photos I took while on a mission trip to Africa. We spent 12 days in Kenya, Nairobi and 3 of those days were spent at the Masai Mara Reserve on safari. It was an awesome privilege to be able to see that part of creation. We were able to get very close to the animals and we could hear the lions roaring, from our hotel rooms, in the wee hours of the morning. For more info on the cards please contact me via email.

Gallery News

My first gallery spot was at the student gallery at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. Art One in Gastonia, NC showed my paper relief sculpture in 2000. Then I took a break to get used to being a new mom when my first child was born in December of 2000. In December of 2005 I displayed my work at Dilworth Playhouse Cafe on South Blvd. in Charlotte, NC. My work has been showing at Greenrice Designs in the NoDa arts district in Charlotte, NC since February 2005.
